Day 1: Transfer to Kitugum
Meet you guide and start your Kidepo safari. You hava a long day in the car ahead of you and can enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows.
Overnight Kitgum
Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast you make the last part of the journey to Kidepo Valley national park. This park is known as one of the last untoutched wildernesses in Africa. You will reach the park in time for a game-drive and then get to the lodge for lunch. After some relaxation you head out for a evening game-drive and have the chance of seeing for example giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions and leopards.
Overnight at Apoka hostel bandas
Day 3: A day at Kidepo valley National Park
Get up early to enjoy a morning game-drive in the area of the Kanangorok hot springs. If you are lucky you can see ostriches in this area. After lunch it is time for a cultural experience visiting a Karamojong village. See how the locals live and learn about their culture.
Overnight at Apoka hostel bandas
Day 4: Transfer back through Gulu
This will be an interesting day in the car as you are travelling through the remotest parts of Uganda, see villages and nature passing by the window. Spend the night in Gulu Uganda's second biggest town.
Overnight in the Boma hotel
Day 5: Rhino sanctuary and transfer to Kampala
After breakfast you start the journey back to Kampala. Along the way to Kampala you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to make a walk to see the rhinos. Before Kampala your guide will point out to the Popular Luwero triangle and continue through to the City as you have reached the end of your Kidepo safari.
