Day 1 - Uganda wildlife educational centre & Entebbe

Meet your guide early in the morning and set off towards Entebbe. Uganda wildlife education centre in Entebbe (former Entebbe zoo) offers an unforgetable morning with their chimpanzee close up experience.  At UWEC they believe that it is through getting to know the chimps humans will be motivated to save them and during the hour you spend with the chimps you really do get to come close. Note that valid health proof is requiered for the chimpanzee close up experience. Relax a bit after this memorable morning and then go for a behind the scenes tour of UWEC. You will see the animals of Uganda nearby and get to study them and learn new things by the guide. The tour lasts for 2 hours.
After the tour has finished you leave UWEC for a lunch down by Lake Victoria. Hear the waves and look out over the lake while you enjoy a Tilapia or some other tasty dish.  In the afternoon you go to Entebbe botanical garden where you can see fascinating fauna and get the feeling of being in the jungle. After a walk around the garden you head back towards Kampala after an eventful day.
